Agency limits and FAQ
These are the current limits for agency accounts on Sill, and answers to questions agencies ask most.
What are the daily limits?
Section titled “What are the daily limits?”| What | Limit |
|---|---|
| Client invites, access requests, domain scans and report emails | 50 a day in total, shared across all four |
| Scan widget scans | 25 a day, separate from the above |
| Domains per scan batch | 50 |
| Excel file size for a scan batch | 2 MB |
| Retries of one site’s scan | 3 in 24 hours |
| Retries across your agency | 20 an hour |
| Websites that can run your scan widget | 10 |
“A day” is a rolling 24 hours, not a calendar day: each use frees up again 24 hours after it was made. Reports shows what is left, for example 38 of 50 scans left today. Scans that go over show Capped; retry them when there is room.
An access request counts against the 50 even when you enter a domain that no Sill account uses yet.
If you need higher limits, contact Sill.
How long do invites and requests last?
Section titled “How long do invites and requests last?”| Item | Expires after |
|---|---|
| Invite to the owner of a client account you created | 7 days |
| Access request to an existing account’s owner | 7 days |
Resend an invite from Clients, or send a new request.
What data does Sill keep?
Section titled “What data does Sill keep?”- Contact details stored with a report (email, name and company) are deleted after 180 days. The scan result and report link stay.
- Deleting a report stops its shared link from working.
- Deleting a widget lead removes it from your Leads list.
- Removing a client, or a client revoking your agency, ends your access immediately. The record that the access existed is kept.
Frequently asked
Section titled “Frequently asked”How do I turn on the Agency Portal or white label? Contact Sill. Both are turned on per account; white label is a separate add-on.
Who in my agency can use the portal? Owners and admins of the agency account. Invite teammates from Account settings → Team; see Users and roles.
Can my agency see or change a client’s billing? No. Billing stays with the client’s own account. Billing and invoices are hidden while you work inside a client.
Can my client see what my agency does in their account? The client sees your agency under Account settings → Agency access, with its role, and can revoke it at any time.
Can I take over a client’s account? No. Your access is at most admin, and the client’s owner stays in control of billing, the team, held orders, payment settings and the account itself.
Do signed records mention my agency? No. Agent cards, signed records and audit exports always identify Sill, so anyone can verify them. Your branding appears on reports and report emails only; see White label.
Can I request access with just a client’s domain? Yes, if the client’s Sill account has verified that domain: Sill sends the request to that account’s owners. If no Sill account uses the domain, create a client account instead, or ask the owner for their email. See Clients.
Can I move from one client to another without returning to my agency? Yes. Pick the other client in the account switcher.
Can I scan a site without telling its owner? Yes. Scans read public pages and files only. The owner hears from you only if you send the report, and you must confirm they agreed to receive it.
